Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of مين الغشيم — Men El Ghashim (Spy Game) ("the App"), published by gor3a ("we", "us"). By installing or playing the App, or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App or the site.

We may update these Terms (see "Changes to these Terms" below). Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

License to use the game

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. This license gives you no ownership of the App, its code, artwork, sounds, or word/category packs.

You may not copy, decompile, reverse-engineer, resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the App or any part of it, or use it to build a competing product, except where applicable law grants a right this agreement cannot exclude.

User conduct and acceptable use

Online mode lets you create or join short-lived game rooms using a room code, a display name, and an avatar you choose. In online rooms you agree not to: harass, threaten, or abuse other players; use a display name, avatar, or pack content that is obscene, hateful, or impersonates someone; disrupt a room by spamming joins, exploiting bugs for unfair advantage, or interfering with its real-time infrastructure; or use the App for anything unlawful.

Room hosts can manage their own room, including kicking, banning, or transferring it to another player. We may suspend or terminate online access for any player or device we reasonably believe is violating these Terms, without prior notice.

User-generated content and moderation

The App lets players create custom word/category "packs" and, in some cases, share them via a pack key or room. You are solely responsible for any pack content, display name, or avatar you submit, and by submitting it you confirm it is yours to share and does not infringe anyone else's rights.

Do not submit content that is illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit involving minors, or that otherwise violates these Terms. We do not pre-screen every submitted pack, but may review, hide, edit, or remove user-generated content and suspend the account or device behind it, at our discretion — including on another player's report. Report violations in-app or via the contact details below.

You keep ownership of original pack content you create. Sharing a pack with other players, including making it redeemable by key, grants those players and gor3a a license to display and use that content within the App to play the game.

Intellectual property

The App name, logo, artwork, default word/category packs, and underlying software belong to gor3a or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license above, these Terms transfer no intellectual-property rights to you.

"Spy Game", "Men El Ghashim", مين الغشيم, and related marks identify our game; other trademarks referenced here (app-store or platform names, for example) belong to their respective owners.

Third-party services

The App and this website rely on third parties to operate: Apple App Store and Google Play (distribution and optional Apple/Google sign-in), Supabase (backend for online rooms), Google AdMob (advertising, where enabled), and analytics/crash-reporting tools. Use of those services is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for their availability or content.

Disclaimer of warranties

The App and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, or that online rooms will always be reachable.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, gor3a will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, goodwill, or enjoyment, arising from your use of or inability to use the App or this website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time to reflect changes to the App, our services, or legal requirements. We will update the "Last updated" date when we do. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to bring it to your attention, such as an in-app notice.

Governing law

These Terms are intended to be interpreted fairly and in good faith. Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled under the law and courts that apply to your location or ours, as required by applicable mandatory consumer-protection rules.
