مين الغشيم ("the App", "we") is a social party game published by gor3a, with a companion website at ghashim.com. This policy explains what data the App and the website handle. Signing in is optional — you can play the App fully without an account.
Offline ("Pass & Play") mode: nothing. No data leaves your device.
Account sign-in (optional): you may sign in with Apple or Google to save your progress across devices. We receive a name, email address (or Apple's private relay address), and a unique
account ID from the sign-in provider. This is used only to identify your account and to merge any progress you made before signing in. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time — see "Data deletion" below.
Online mode (room-based): when you create or join an online room we process, only for the duration of the game:
Room gameplay state is stored by our backend provider (Supabase) solely to run the live game and is
automatically deleted within 24 hours of the room ending. If you are signed in, your account progress is retained until you delete your account.
Video calls (optional, online rooms only): if a room host enables video, we access your device's
camera and microphone to power a live audio/video call with the other players in that room, via our video provider (Stream, EU region). Video/audio is not recorded unless the host also enables recording (below) and every participant consents.
Recording (optional, requires every participant's consent): a host may enable recording of an online round. If enabled, we capture audio and video of the call and store the resulting clip in Cloudflare R2 (EU region) for 30 days, after which it is automatically deleted — unless a premium subscriber chooses to keep a highlight clip permanently. Any participant can decline recording consent; declining removes that participant's audio/video from the recording entirely, it is never captured. If you believe a recording or another player's behavior is abusive, you can report it in-app (see "Reporting abuse" below) or a room host can remove/ban that player from the room.
Subscription purchases (optional): if you subscribe to Premium, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple's or Google's billing system. We receive only a purchase/entitlement status (active or not, via our billing provider RevenueCat) — no payment card details ever reach our servers.
Advertising (App): the App displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may access a device
advertising identifier and similar data to serve and measure ads. See Google's policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Advertising and cookies (website): ghashim.com uses Google AdSense. Google and its partner vendors use cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this or other websites. Visitors may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting https://www.google.com/settings/ads, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies generally at https://www.aboutads.info. Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland are served under Google's [EU User Consent Policy](https://www.google.com/about/company/user-consent-policy/), and a consent mechanism gates ad personalization for those visitors before any ad cookie is set.
We do not collect your phone number, real name (unless you choose to sign in and it's part of your Apple/Google account), contacts, photos, files, or precise location. We do not sell personal data.
All network traffic uses encryption in transit (HTTPS/WSS). Online room gameplay data is short-lived and auto-deleted. Recordings are stored in access-controlled cloud storage and auto-delete after 30 days unless a premium user explicitly keeps a clip. Account data is retained only for as long as you keep your account.
If another player's recording, name, or behavior is inappropriate, use the in-app report link (opens an email to us with the room context pre-filled) or, if you are the room host, use the in-room kick/ban controls to remove that player immediately.
The App is suitable for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child provided data, contact us and we will remove it.
Online room gameplay data deletes itself within 24 hours of the room ending. Recordings delete themselves after 30 days unless kept by a premium subscriber. To delete your account and all associated data, use the in-app account deletion flow (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or visit https://ghashim.com/delete-account. For any other privacy question, contact us at the email below. On iOS/Android you can also reset your advertising identifier in your device settings to limit ad personalization; on the web, use the Google opt-out links above.
